My voice is British English without dialect (RP) which is particularly suited to Explainers, Corporate, Elearning and Telephone/IVR. I work from my own professional-standard studio in London. Clients hire me for my warm, crystal clear voice which I can adapt to a variety of vocal styles such as authoritative, confident, conversational, sultry and friendly.
Having worked on the other side of the mic, I understand clients' budgets, deadlines and creative requirements. I love working in my studio, being creative and getting the job done promptly.
Whatever the production may be, I understand that efficiency is important to you. My ultimate goal is to make you look good by making your clients happy.

About Me
I left Surburbia for Notting Hill, London, two weeks after my 18th birthday; a decision I've yet to regret. And it was at a local evening class in archaeology that cemented a desire to uncover the past. I spent many summers on Portland, Dorset, digging on a prehistoric site, then one day I uncovered a pile of stone tool flakes; their flint scatter revealing a pattern outlining the knapper’s knees. Unable to resist, I lowered myself into the exact position where another had sat at work some 7,000 years ago. To say it was magical would only be an understatement.
The call for my first job in television came after graduating in archaeology and whilst working on a dig in Thailand. My ambition was to produce programmes where this time, I would ask the viewer to put themselves in the place of the interviewee, so I made social issue documentaries (some of which I narrated) on subjects such as the recession for the BBC, and for Channel 4, the Animal Liberation Front and an anti-smacking programme that happily received more complaints than any other film at that time. As the TV landscape changed in the mid 90's, I left to take up a new position as a trainer in the film industry; a position I loved but which regrettably came to an end in 2010 after the financial crash.
I'd always loved narrating my films, and this experience along with my years of working with voice over talent were the catalysts to set up my own studio and work full time as a voice artist. My experience has given me a real understanding of what clients require such as the right tone, excellent service and prompt delivery. I bring all this talent, plus enthusiasm and the desire to deliver the right vocal style to fit the message. And clients like the BBC, Unilever and Pfizer have said working with me is a delight. So here I am once again, stepping into the shoes of another person when I'm behind the mic, whether I'm as educated professional, a trustworthy friend or engaging guide. I'd love for you to discover who I can be.
